Squash Fees & Payments
Some of your Squash fees will go directly to the Kumeu Racquets Club General Account (KRC) and some to the Kumeu Squash Club Account (KSC). Your overall club membership & Squash NZ affiliation dues will go to the KRC account (paid via our online system) and Squash specific fees to the KSC account.
Examples of Squash specific fees are:
- Squash Tournaments
- Special Events (eg: Christmas party and social functions)
- Any other Squash specific activities
HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
- SIGN UP AS A MEMBER ONLINE
Sign up as a new member online (all membership options and associated fees are presented at signup online) or login to renew your membership if you have been a member previously. If you are renewing an existing/previous membership, then your existing key will reactivate automatically as soon as your membership is renewed online.
- COLLECT YOUR KEY
All members are given a 24/7 electronic access key fob for the club and the areas that their membership entitles them to. Once you have signed up as a new member online, please attend one of our open Club Nights (Thursday's at 7PM) to collect your key or contact one of the committee members to make alternate arrangements to collect it.
- USE AND ENJOY YOUR CLUB!
Take advantage of the opportunities that the club offers for Squash, Badminton & Pickleball. In particular, we are active with club nights, social events, interclub, etc and regularly email members with news of club activities.
Interclub fees are typically paid to your team captain, who will then pay them in one lump sum into the KSC account for ease of reconciliation. Squash event sponsorship funds go into the KSC account. All bar takings and costs are managed through the KRC general account.
Eventbrite is an online ticketing and event management platform. We use this platform to manage most events at the club (both Squash and general club events). We sell tickets, collect payments and manage attendee lists all through Eventbrite as it helps to ensure events run smoothly with a minimum of administrative effort. Once an event is set up via Eventbrite, we always let members know via our email newsletter with all the details and event link so they can register and make their payments online.
